Not necessarily.

First figure out what your student actually needs. If the math itself is difficult, a tutor or course may help. If your student understands the math but needs practice, another class may not be necessary.

Start With Practice

Start with a few PSAT-style questions and look at where the mistakes happen.

Are they getting questions wrong because they don't understand the math? Or do they know the math but need more practice recognizing the problem and solving it quickly?

Those are different problems.

Tutor, Workbook, or App?

A tutor can help when a student needs someone to explain the math.

A workbook works well for students who can study independently.

An adaptive app can adjust what to practice next as the student improves.

There isn't one right choice for every student.
